The Company

CLARK ROBINS, DESIGN/BUILD, INC. (CRDB) was founded in 1981 with a focus on specialty renovations. CRDB projects encompass the design and construction of alterations to unique structures ranging from private homes, commercial spaces, historical landmarks (which are typically occupied during the construction process) to new home construction. The alterations take the form of an addition to an existing structure, the reworking of existing space, or a combination of the two. As well as building onto structures in the usual sense of the word, we have added additional floors and created spaces below existing structures.

Much of our work is done in occupied homes and our sensitivity to the needs of the occupants remains paramount throughout the process. Our site staff is comprised of long term employees with CRDB (an average of eight years), and has the ability to work "in-close", in as non-disruptive way as possible, to the daily routine of the dwelling. We have assembled a network of subcontractors and suppliers with a record of providing the finest products and services available (often one of a kind items). The close ongoing relationship between our subcontractors and site staff, and our extensive network of local artisans, allows for what we believe is an unmatched ability to address individual project needs.

Although CRDB welcomes the opportunity to execute the designs of others (our extensive design/build experience is of particular benefit in the collaborative process with architects and engineers), most of our projects are from our own design.
